Introduction:

Southern Cross University Indigenous Excellence Scholarship is will support high-achieving Indigenous students through their student journey at Southern Cross University.

Eligibility requirement for Southern Cross University Indigenous Excellence Scholarship:

Must be enrolled in a Commonwealth-supported place and commencing a full-time Bachelor or Diploma program at Southern Cross University.
Must identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
Must achieve an ATAR ranking within the top 10 Indigenous school leavers seeking admission to Southern Cross University in 2027.

Value of the scholarship:

A AUD 24,000 is awarded to support a full-time student

Application Process:

Students do not have to apply for Merit-based Scholarships. The Scholarships will be awarded to 2026 school leavers achieving the ATAR or equivalent per eligibility criteria, and who are enrolled in a Bachelor or Diploma program in 2027.

Note:

Selection will be based on ATAR or ATAR equivalent achieved in 2026 year 12 studies
