South Asia Scholarship at Edinburgh Napier University 2026

Eligibility Criteria for South Asia Scholarship:

Applicants must:

• Be living in India, Bangladesh, Nepal, or Sri Lanka at the time of application
• Be self-funding their studies
• Hold an offer to study a full-time, on-campus bachelor’s or taught master’s course starting in June 2026, September 2026, or January 2027
• For bachelor’s courses, achieve at least 60% in the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) or equivalent CGPA for top-up students
• Not be receiving discounted tuition fees from a partner university or another scholarship
• Note that MRes programmes are not eligible for this scholarship.

Value of South Asia Scholarship:

Postgraduate students:

• £3,000 for one-year courses
• £1,000 for two-year courses

Undergraduate students:

• £2,000 scholarship
• Students from India may receive the scholarship each year subject to progression, up to a maximum of £8,000

Application Process:

• Apply and obtain an offer for an eligible programme at Edinburgh Napier University
  
• Pay the required tuition fee deposit
  
• Eligible students are automatically considered; no separate scholarship application is required.
