About the scheme:
The Sainsbury Management Fellowship (SMF) scheme, funded by the Gatsby Charitable Foundation, is the MBA scholarship scheme of the Engineers in Business Fellowship. The scheme enables engineers of high career potential to undertake a full time MBA, at major international business schools. The overall aim of SMF is to develop UK engineers as industry leaders, and to improve the economic performance of UK businesses by providing a resource of highly motivated engineers with a first-class business education, in an international environment.
Eligibility for Sainsbury Management Fellowships:
- Candidates applying for Sainsbury Management Fellowships 2022 must have received a confirmed place in a full-time MBA program from one of the eligible business schools.
- The first degree (first or upper second class) of the applicants must be in an engineering discipline.
- Applicants must show dedication to UK engineering/business and their respective engineering communities.
- Candidates applying must be EU/EEA citizens, domiciled in the UK.
- Applicants must possess Chartered Engineer status (or equivalent) or be making ample progress towards it.
- Post-degree, applicants usually have 4-10 years of professional experience.
- Applicants of Sainsbury Management Fellowships 2022 must be committed to engineering and technology.
- Previous applicants who attended the interview are ineligible while those who weren't invited for the interview can reapply after 2 years post the previous application date.
