Paul T. Wietig Memorial Fund (Award)

The fund aims to provide an award and graduate student training in Interprofessional Education for the Department of Community Health & Health Behavior in the School of Public Health and Health Professions.

Eligibility criteria of the Paul T. Wietig Memorial Fund -

• Applicants from all nationalities are eligible to apply
• The applicants must be graduate students training in Interprofessional Education for the Department of Community Health & Health Behavior
• They must be enrolled in the School of Public Health and Health Professions.
• They can be PHD, MPH, or MS students in the Department of Community Health and Health Behavior who have completed at least 2 semesters in their program and are eligible.
• Students must be in good academic standing (e.g., GPA above a 3.0, no academic/integrity related issues, etc.) to be eligible.

Application process -

• The applicant must answer the supplemental questions
  • If they are currently a student in the Department of Community Health and Health Behavior?
  • They must tell more about their involvement in the Department of Community Health and Health Behavior. For example, what CHHB lectures or events have you attended?
  • They must also submit a statement summarizing their community service activities (particularly those that are public health in nature) while a student in your current degree program. 
  • They must also provide information about the dates of service, organization or individuals served, along with a narrative describing the nature and scope of your activities.
