The University of Northern British Columbia’s Mervin Holder Student Award supports full-time undergraduate Engineering students who demonstrate academic proficiency and financial need, with preference given to mature students or lone parents with full-time custody of their child.

Eligibility Criteria for the Mervin Holder Student Award at the University of Northern British Columbia 2026:

• Applicants must be full-time undergraduate students.
• Applicants must be enrolled in an eligible Engineering program at UNBC.
• Applicants must have completed fewer than 30 credit hours.
• Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.67 or demonstrate the stated academic proficiency.
• Applicants must demonstrate financial need.
• Preference will be given to mature students or lone parents with full-time custody of their child.
