The McElhanney Engineering Scholarship at the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC) supports full-time undergraduate engineering students entering their second year who demonstrate academic proficiency and intend to work in Northern British Columbia after graduation.

Eligibility Criteria for the McElhanney Engineering Scholarship at the University of Northern British Columbia 2026:

• Applicants must be full-time undergraduate students in an Engineering program.
• Applicants must be entering their 2nd year and have completed 30 credit hours.
• Applicants must demonstrate academic proficiency.
• Applicants must intend to work in Northern British Columbia after graduation.
• Applicants who are residents of Northern British Columbia receive first preference.

Application Process for the McElhanney Engineering Scholarship at the University of Northern British Columbia 2026:

• Applicants must apply online through the UNBC Awards and Financial Aid Office.
• No additional documentation is required.
• Recipients are selected by the Awards Office/SCSB.
