McKellar Family Scholarship at the University of Northern British Columbia 2026

The McKellar Family Scholarship at the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC) supports students in Nursing or the Northern Medical Program, with preference for those committed to working in Northern British Columbia.

Eligibility Criteria for the McKellar Family Scholarship at the University of Northern British Columbia 2026:

• Applicants must be full-time or part-time students in the BScN program or be accepted into and committed to the Northern Medical Program.
• Applicants must demonstrate academic proficiency.
• Applicants who are residents of Northern BC receive first preference.
• Applicants must intend to remain and work in Northern BC after completing their studies for first preference.
• Applicants must complete the Career Goals section of the Awards Application form.

Application Process for the McKellar Family Scholarship at the University of Northern British Columbia 2026:

• Applicants must apply online through the UNBC Awards and Financial Aid Office.
• Applicants must complete the Career Goals section of the Awards Application form.
• No additional documentation is required.
• Recipients are selected by the Awards Office/SCSB.
• UNBC aims to alternate the award between a Nursing student and a Northern Medical Program student each year.
