The Marla Duino Lenz Scholarship

The Marla Duino Lenz Scholarship is designed to provide financial support to students who are committed to pursuing a career in education and have demonstrated a strong dedication to community service. This scholarship seeks to recognize individuals who not only excel academically but also contribute meaningfully to their communities. Eligibility

To qualify for the Marla Duino Lenz Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Minimum GPA: A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.

Commitment to Community Service:

• Applicants must demonstrate a history of community service, showing a dedication to helping others and contributing to the betterment of their communities.

Enrollment Requirements:

Applicants must be enrolled at least part-time in an eligible program:

• Undergraduate or credential students must be enrolled in at least 6 units.
• Graduate students must be enrolled in at least 3 units.

Commitment to Education:

• Applicants must be committed to pursuing a career in education and show a clear intent to teach or work in an educational setting.
• Additionally, the recipient of this scholarship must write a thank you note to the donor expressing appreciation for the award.
