Eligibility Criteria for Mark Barrow Education and Social Practice Scholarship at University of Auckland:
Applicants must:
- Be enrolled or enrolling full-time or part-time in a master’s thesis or research portfolio (minimum 60 points).
- Be in the Faculty of Arts and Education, University of Auckland.
- Be undertaking research related to social or educational inequality involving one or more of the following groups:
- Māori
- Pacific peoples
- People with disabilities
- LGBTIQ Takatāpui+ community
- Refugee backgrounds
- Low socio-economic groups
- First-generation university students
- Have a GPA/GPE of at least 6.00 (or 5.50 for Māori and Pacific applicants) in the most recent qualifying program.
Value of Mark Barrow Education and Social Practice Scholarship at University of Auckland:
The scholarship is valued at $5,000 NZD, awarded for one semester, with one scholarship offered annually; the amount will be pro-rated for part-time students.
