Louise Clancy Memorial Prize at the University College Cork 2026

Introduction 

The Louise Clancy Memorial Prize is established in the memory of a former UCC School of English student who died in a road accident on 22nd Dec 2015. The Louise Clancy Memorial Prize is awarded to a student who writes the best dissertation in the final year of BA English at University College Cork.

Eligibility requirements for the Louise Clancy Memorial Prize at the University College Cork:

• The applicants must be enrolled in the dissertation module EN3110.
• The applicants must be current UCC students enrolled in BA English.
• The application is open for all the nationalities.

Application Process:

• There is no separate application process. All the eligible candidates are considered automatically.

Value of the Scholarship:

• A EUR 1,000 is awarded to support a full-time student.
