Eligibility Criteria for the Lethbridge Symphony Orchestra Strings Award:

Applicants can be of any nationality.
Applicants must be entering or continuing in a Bachelor of Music program with the instrument of violin, viola, cello or bass.
Applicants must have successfully auditioned for the Lethbridge Symphony.
Applicants must have demonstrated artistic excellence and academic achievement (minimum 70% admission average for New High School students, 3.00 admission GPA for New Transfer students, 3.00 fall/winter GPA for continuing students).

Application Process:

Applicants must complete the uLethbridge Application for Scholarships, Awards and Bursaries to be considered.
Recipients are recommended by the Department of Music Scholarship Committee.

Value of the Lethbridge Symphony Orchestra Strings Award:

Successful applicants will receive an award of up to $3,000.
