LaValle Creative Arts Scholarship

The LaValle Creative Arts Scholarship supports talented first-year and transfer students pursuing creative arts at the university.

Eligibility criteria for the LaValle Creative Arts Scholarship:

• The applicant must be a first-year or transfer student.
• The applicant must major in either Studio Art, Digital Arts, Museum and Curatorial Studies, or Theatre Arts at the university.
• The applicant must have a real passion for developing their talent in a liberal arts setting.
• The applicant must demonstrate that they have the potential to interpret the world around them and express that interpretation through their chosen art form.

Application process for the LaValle Creative Arts Scholarship:

• Applicants must first apply to Stetson University.
• Applicants must submit their application through the Hatter Portal.
• Applicants must submit the required portfolio, writing sample, artist statement, or audition recording based on the chosen discipline.
• Portfolios must contain 3–8 finished works, and artist statements should be 1–2 pages with an impact statement.
• Applicants must submit the LaValle Creative Arts Scholarship application, artist statement, and portfolio by December 1.
