The main purpose of the Kate Edger Foundation - Masters Degree Award is to assist women graduates to carry out study for a masters degree at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland.

Eligibility Criteria for Kate Edger Foundation - Master's Degree Award at the University of Auckland 2026:

Applicants must be women.
Applicants must be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident.
Applicants must be enrolled, or enrolling, full-time in a Master's degree at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland.
Students with health conditions or impairments limiting full-time study may apply to hold the Award on a part-time basis.
A GPA or GPE of at least 7.00 (or 6.50 for Māori or Pacific candidates) in the applicant’s qualifying program is required for consideration.

Value of Kate Edger Foundation - Master's Degree Award at the University of Auckland 2026:

Up to eight Awards will be made annually, each for a period of one year, and will be of the value of up to $8,000 each.
