John and Ellie Voortman Charitable Foundation Child and Youth Care Bursary at Mohawk College:

The John and Ellie Voortman Charitable Foundation Child and Youth Care Bursary is offered to support students at Mohawk College completing the Child and Youth Care program. The bursary aims to help reduce the financial barriers students may face while completing their post-secondary education.

Eligibility requirements for the John and Ellie Voortman Charitable Foundation Child and Youth Care Bursary at Mohawk College:

• The applicants must be enrolled in the Child and Youth Care program.
• The students from any year of study may be eligible.
• The applicants must demonstrate financial need according to OSAP eligibility guidelines.
• The applicants must have been an Ontario resident for 12 consecutive months before starting their studies.

Application Process:

• This is a general award the students can apply for through the Mohawk College Scholarships and Bursaries Application.

Value of the Scholarship:

• A CAD 2,000 is awarded to support a full-time student at Mohawk University.
