Heriot-Watt University Syrian Refugee Scholarship

Heriot-Watt University Syrian Refugee Scholarship offered by the Heriot-Watt University for Syrian Refugees who plan to pursue their postgraduate studies at the university. The value of the scholarship is the complete tuition fee waiver plus £1,000 bursary for living costs. 

Eligibility:

• Applicant must hold a conditional or unconditional offer for an eligible postgraduate taught program.
• Must have submitted, or are the dependant of someone who has submitted, an application to the Home Office for recognition as a Refugee under the 1951 Convention on the Status of Refugees and not yet received a decision from the Home Office on that application, or
• must have been offered a leave to remain in the UK on the grounds of Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights 
• or Applicants who are already enrolled in their degree program and have since applied for asylum and can no longer access their original funding. (A proof will be required)
