Eligibility Criteria for Henry Vale Scholarship in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Canterbury:

Applicants must be enrolled full-time in a program for a BE (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering at the university.
Applicants must have completed all of the following courses or equivalents:
- ENME 315 Heat Transfer
- ENME 314 Fluid Mechanics
- ENME 215 Engineering Thermodynamics
- ENME 311 Engineering Design and Production Management / Engineering Design and Production Sustainability
Applicants must be enrolled in at least one of the following courses, or equivalents:
- ENME 405 Energy Systems Engineering
- ENME 406 Engineering Product Design and Analysis
- ENME 465 Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Engineering

Value of the Henry Vale Scholarship in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Canterbury:

One award at $8,000 plus two awards at $3,000.
