Roma Zenovea Hawirko Graduate Scholarship at University of Manitoba 2025

Roma Zenovea Hawirko has established a fund at the University of Manitoba which will be used to offer the Roma Zenovea Hawirko Graduate Scholarship, which is intended to encourage and stimulate graduate student interest in innovative research activity in the area of microbiology

Eligibility Criteria for Roma Zenovea Hawirko Graduate Scholarship at University of Manitoba 2025:

Applicants must:

• Be admitted and registered full-time in the Faculty of Graduate Studies at the University of Manitoba in the 2025–2026 academic year.
• Be within the first four years of a Ph.D. program in a department within either the Faculty of Science or the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences.
• Have a minimum degree GPA of 3.5 (or equivalent) based on the last 60 credit hours of study.
• Be conducting a clearly defined and innovative research project in the area of microbiology.

Application Process:

All eligible candidates must apply online to be considered for the scholarship. The application should include the following components:

• A detailed research proposal.
• Three reference letters (one from the advisor).
• The reference letters should highlight the student's work experience and emphasize the student's active participation in graduate seminars.
