Eligibility Criteria for Martingale Foundation Scholarships 2025:
Applicants must:
- Have achieved, or be on track to achieve, a First or Upper-Second Class undergraduate degree in a relevant subject.
- Be eligible to begin a Masters or PhD at a UK university from September 2026.
- Qualify for Home Fee status at Martingale partner universities.
- Have attended school in the UK or Ireland:
- At least 3 years between ages 11 and 18, OR
- At least 7 years between ages 4 and 18.
- Have completed GCSEs or equivalent at a state-funded school OR received a scholarship/bursary covering ≥ 90% of fees at a fee-paying school.
- Have faced or are facing financial barriers, including a household income of £45,000 or under annually.
- Meet entry requirements for their intended postgraduate program at a partner university.
- Attend an assessment centre (Bristol, Edinburgh, London, or Manchester) if shortlisted.
