Eligibility Criteria for Graduate Engagement and Leadership Award in French Studies:

Applicants must:

Be full-time graduate students (Master’s or Doctoral level).
Be enrolled in the Department of French Studies in the Faculty of Arts at University of Waterloo.
Demonstrate leadership and engagement within francophone communities (on-campus or off-campus).
Have a minimum cumulative academic average of 80% or equivalent.
Show additional community engagement may be considered if combined with francophone involvement outside the university.
Not have received this award previously, and not hold it concurrently with certain other French Studies awards.

Value of Graduate Engagement and Leadership Award in French Studies:

The award provides CAD $500.

Application Process:

Complete the application form from the French Studies website.
Submit the application to the Department of French Studies Graduate Studies Coordinator.
Applications are reviewed by the Graduate Studies Committee, which selects recipients annually in June.
