Eligibility Criteria for Studentships and Bursaries at Royal Institute of Philosophy 2026:

Applicants must:

Be currently studying for a PhD in Philosophy.
Have completed at least one year of doctoral study by the start of the award year.
Be enrolled full-time or part-time in a Philosophy department at a UK higher education institution during the award year.
Provide at least one written academic reference from their doctoral supervisor.
Demonstrate financial need, as other funding held will be taken into account.
