Gillian Sanderson "Becoming" Award

The Gillian Sanderson "Becoming" Award is supported by the late Ms. Gillian Sanderson, and it supports women students in Indigenous Education and Community Connections at Camosun College.

Eligibility criteria for the Gillian Sanderson "Becoming" Award:

Applicants must be women.
Applicants must be currently registered students at the college.
Applicants must have Indigenous ancestry, including First Nations, Metis, Inuit, or Native American ancestry.
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 or equivalent, unless otherwise stated in the award criteria.
Applicants must be in the process of reclaiming or strengthening their knowledge and practice of Indigenous values and teachings.
Applicants must have a life dream that they are pursuing.
