Nancy Pierce Owens Memorial Scholarship
The Nancy Pierce Owens Memorial Scholarship was established to honor the memory of Sacramento State alumna Nancy Pierce Owens and is intended to award scholarships to undergraduate students in the College of Education who might otherwise not have the opportunity for higher education.

Eligibility criteria for the Nancy Pierce Owens Memorial Scholarship:

• Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 overall GPA.
• It is limited to students majoring in any College of Education undergraduate program leading to a Bachelor’s degree.
• It is limited to students who are either Junior or Senior level undergraduates.
• The financial need may be considered but is not required.
• Applicant may be enrolled full or part-time.
• Applicant must be enrolled at the time of award.

Application process for the Nancy Pierce Owens Memorial Scholarship:

• The candidate must surpass all the admission requirements set by the university.
