Faculty of Science and Engineering FIRST Australia Scholarship

The Faculty of Science and Engineering FIRST Australia Scholarship supports domestic and international students who have participated in FIRST Australia activities and are commencing an undergraduate degree at the Faculty of Science and Engineering.

Eligibility criteria for the Faculty of Science and Engineering FIRST Australia Scholarship:

• Applicants must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, an Australian permanent resident or permanent humanitarian visa holder, or a holder of a temporary entry visa (student visa).
• Applicants must be commencing full-time in an undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Science and Engineering.
• Applicants must commence in Session 1, 2026.
• Applicants must have participated in FIRST Australia activities.
• Applicants must demonstrate the FIRST core values of discovery, innovation, impact, inclusion, teamwork, and fun.
• Selection considers FIRST participation, responses to the online application questions, and Year 11 results.

Application process for the Faculty of Science and Engineering FIRST Australia Scholarship:

• Applicants must apply to commence a full-time undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Science and Engineering.
• Applicants must complete the online Macquarie University Scholarship Application form.
• Applicants must provide certification of participation in FIRST events in Australia or internationally.
• Applicants must demonstrate the FIRST core values through their application responses.
• Applicants must submit their Year 11 results.
• Applicants are selected based on their online application responses, FIRST participation certification, and Year 11 results.

Award: AUD 5,000 per year
