Eligibility Criteria for Faculty of Mathematics Graduate Research Excellence Award:

Applicants Must:

Be registered full-time in a graduate program in the Faculty of Mathematics, or have been registered within the last two academic terms
Have authored or co-authored a research paper relevant to the Faculty of Mathematics
Have a paper that, by January 31 of the award year:
- Is published, accepted for publication, accepted in reviewed conference proceedings, or
- Has passed the first round of journal refereeing.

Value of Faculty of Mathematics Graduate Research Excellence Award:

Awards are valued at up to CAD $5,000 annually.

Application Process:

Students cannot apply directly.
Applicants must be nominated by their supervisor by the deadline set by their academic unit. Departments review and rank nominations before submitting selected applications to the Associate Dean Research Office.
