Eligibility Criteria for Faculty of Engineering Kick Start Merit Award at University of Auckland:

Applicants must be New Zealand citizens or permanent residents.
Applicants must be enrolled, or enrolling, full-time in the first year of a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (BE(Hons)) degree or Bachelor
of Engineering (Honours) conjoint degree at the University of Auckland.

Selection Criteria for Faculty of Engineering Kick Start Merit Award at University of Auckland:

Academic merit based on Level 2 or higher NCEA results or an equivalent qualification.
All-round excellence in personal achievements.
Assessment through personal statement.
Performance in an interview.

Value of Faculty of Engineering Kick Start Merit Award at University of Auckland:

A maximum of eight awards will be granted annually, each for one year, with a value of up to $2,500.
