Ernest & Iris Damkar Entrance Awards

The Ernest & Iris Damkar Entrance Awards provide support to students who are enrolled in the Agricultural & Heavy Equipment, Agricultural Management, or Land and Water Resources programs at Olds College

Eligibility criteria for the Ernest & Iris Damkar Entrance Awards:

• The applicant must be a student entering their first or second year at the college.
• The applicant must be enrolled in the  Agricultural & Heavy Equipment, Agricultural Management, or Land and Water Resources programs at the college.
• The applicant must demonstrate their financial needs.
• The applicant must demonstrate effort.
• The applicant must be a Canadian citizen.

Application process for the Ernest & Iris Damkar Entrance Awards:

• Eligible students will be automatically considered based on their completed General Application.
• The award is paid in two instalments of CAD 1,500.
• The recipients must achieve a minimum GPA of 2.0 in the fall term to receive the second installment.
