English Language Bursaries for International Students at University of Wollongong 2026

English Language Bursaries for International Students in Australia are provided by the University of Wollongong to students who enrolled themselves in an undergraduate or graduate-level course at the university.

Eligibility criteria for the English Language Bursary:

Applicants must:

• Be an international student.
• Hold citizenship from one of the following regions/countries:
  • Central America
  • South America
  • Japan
  • Korea
  • Taiwan
  • Thailand
  • Turkey
  • Vietnam
• Receive an offer for an eligible English language course.
• Commence study in 2025 or 2026, subject to the bursary Terms and Conditions.
• Hold only one UOW College scholarship, sponsorship, or bursary per course, except the Study Tour Scholarship, which may be combined.

• General English – CRICOS: 057140F
• English for Academic Purposes (EAP) – CRICOS: 057131G
• English for Tertiary Studies (ETS) – CRICOS: 059174B

Value of English Language Bursary:

• 2025 academic year:
  • Reduced tuition fee of AUD $399 per week (from AUD $585)
• 2026 academic year:
  • Reduced tuition fee of AUD $420 per week (from AUD $599)

Application process:

• No separate bursary application required.
• The bursary is applied to eligible students who receive an offer for an approved English language course.
• The 2026 bursary applies to eligible students with offers issued after 7 July.
