Dean's Global Excellence Scholarship at the University of York

The Dean's Global Excellence Scholarship is a merit-based award offered by the University of York in the UK for high-achieving international undergraduate students. It provides a full tuition fee discount for the first year of study, with a partial tuition fee discount for the second and third years. 

Eligibility Criteria of Dean's Global Excellence Scholarship: 

1. Open to international students, including those from the EU.
2. Must hold a conditional or unconditional offer to study a full-time undergraduate course at the University of York by 9 May 2025.
3. Must pay tuition fees at the overseas rate, with fee assessments completed by 9 May 2025.

Selection Criteria: A panel of senior university staff will select the successful scholarship awardees.

Application Process: No formal application is required; all undergraduate students holding an offer at the University of York are automatically considered for the scholarship.

Award: Full tuition fee discount for the first year, followed by a GBP 10,000 tuition fee discount for the second and third years.

Note: 

1. An applicant is not eligible if they hold a 100% tuition fee scholarship or are fully sponsored.
2. Students at Hull York Medical School, International Pathway College, distance or online learning courses, part-time courses, or Kaplan International College London are also ineligible.
