    This prize was established in 1963 by the University of Auckland Law Students' Society as a memorial to two of its former members, Graham Wilfred Cotton Sproule and Thomas Gary Davies.

    Eligibility for Davies-Sproule Memorial Prize:

    Applicants must:

    • Be enrolled in the Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or LLB (Hons) programme.
    • Have achieved the highest grade in LAWGENRL 433 – Family Law.
    • Meet the minimum grade standard of A-.
    • In the event of a tie, the student with the highest mark receives the prize.

    Value of Davies-Sproule Memorial Prize:

    One Prize will be awarded annually and will be of the value of $600.

    Application Process:

    No separate application is necessary. All eligible applicants will be automatically considered for the scholarship.
