The main purpose of the Crookes-O’Hanlon Scientific Curiosity Award is to recognize and reward scientific initiative and curiosity in Physics at Stage II and inspire the next generation of enterprising scientists.

Eligibility Criteria for Crookes-O’Hanlon Scientific Curiosity Award at University of Auckland:

Applicants must:

Be enrolled in Stage II Physics courses at the University of Auckland.
Demonstrate the highest level of initiative and curiosity in Physics.
Show inspiration and enthusiasm that motivates other students.

Selection Criteria for Crookes-O’Hanlon Scientific Curiosity Award at the University of Auckland:

The quality of coursework submitted.
The level of engagement in class and discussions.
The student’s interest beyond the curriculum.

Value of Crookes-O’Hanlon Scientific Curiosity Award at University of Auckland:

One Award will be made annually and will be of the value of $2,000.
