Introduction:

The C.J. Waite Memorial Award for Carpentry and Heritage Retrofit Carpentry Students was created by Ellen Clarke and Steve Smith through the Clarke Smith Foundation in memory of C.J. Waite. The award commemorates C.J.’s legacy by assisting students from Prince County, PEI who are studying the skilled trades of carpentry and heritage retrofit carpentry at Holland College.

Eligibility requirements for the C.J. Waite Memorial Award for Carpentry and Heritage Retrofit Carpentry Students at Holland College:

Must be a resident of Prince Edward Island (PEI).
Preference is given to applicants who are current residents of Prince County, PEI.
If no eligible Prince County applicants are available, secondary consideration will be given based on demonstrated financial need.

Value of the scholarship:

A 2 x CAD 2,500 is awarded to support a full-time student
