College of Medicine and Public Health Summer Research Scholarship at Flinders University 2024

Background:

The College of Medicine and Public Health has established Honours Scholarships to provide financial assistance to undergraduate students undertaking an honors research project within the College.

Eligibility for the College of Medicine and Public Health Honours Scholarships:

• Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia.
• Candidates should be currently completing or have completed an appropriate undergraduate qualification.
• Students should have as their principal supervisor a staff member of, or a holder of full academic status in, the College of Medicine and Public Health.

Selection Criteria:

The scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit as measured by the Grade Point Average (GPA) for the most recent 36 units of study at the third-year level (80%), as well as future aspirations, other academic achievements, a summary of leadership skills, involvement in community or sporting activities or any other personal development opportunities (20%).

Benefits:

Subject to the availability of funds, there will be one annual scholarship up to the value of $2,500.
