Named for Laureate Professor Emeritus Cheryl Saunders AO (BA 1966 Arts, LLB (Hons) 1966, PhD Law 1976), the Cheryl Saunders Scholarship celebrates Professor Saunders’ magnificent contributions to legal education and constitutional law.
Eligibility Criteria for theCheryl Saunders Scholarship:
- Apply for the Juris Doctor (JD) through Graduate Access Melbourne (GAM)
- Apply under the “Disadvantaged socio-economic circumstances” category
- Submit the Disadvantaged Socio-economic Circumstances Supplementary Form
- Meet all Graduate Access Melbourne entry requirements for the Juris Doctor
- Demonstrate financial need
- Show academic merit
Application Process:
No application is required. Students will be automatically considered for this award upon enrollment with the university.
Value of the Scholarship:
The scholarship provides a living allowance of $5,000 per year for three years, paid in half-yearly instalments in April and September.
