Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum — SUTD Scholarship

The Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum — SUTD Scholarship is established to promote meritocratic access to education and provide opportunities to students, including those with demonstrated financial need.

Eligibility criteria -

The Scholarship is open to Singapore Citizens who 

• They must be full-time undergraduates in their Freshman or Sophomore year and intending to enrol in or are enrolled in the Computer Science and Design (CSD) programme at the University
• Have good academic standing; have good moral character and community spirit.
• They must have demonstrated financial need (per capita income of less than S$2,500 per month).

Application process -

• Existing students who are eligible will be invited to apply via MyPortal, and late and incomplete submissions will not be processed.
• Scholarships are awarded on the basis of competition among eligible applicants.
• SUTD reserves the right not to award any scholarship if there are no candidates of sufficient merit.

Benefits -

• The Scholarship is valued at up to S$15,750 per academic year and is tenable for one 1 Academic Year. Successful recipients may apply for the Scholarship in the subsequent Academic Year, subject to meeting the prevailing eligibility criteria.
• The Scholarship offers financial support towards the annual subsidised tuition fees and other study-related expenses for one (1) Academic Year.
