BEDGAEILGE CHOLARSHIPS at University College Cork 2026

Introduction:

The BEdGaeilge Scholarships are offered by University College Cork (UCC) to support and encourage the development of highly skilled Irish-language teachers. The scholarships are sponsored by the Comhairle um Oideachas Gaeltachta agus Gaelscolaíochta in partnership with the Department of Modern Irish

Eligibility requirements for the BEDGAILGE SCHOLARSHIPS at University College Cork 2026 at University College Cork:

• The applicants must be current UCC students enrolled in the BEdGaeilge program.
• The applicants must be entering the first year of the BEdGaeilge degree at UCC.
• The applicants must meet the normal entry requirements for the BEdGaeilge program.

Value of the Scholarship:

A euro 2,000 is awarded to support a full-time student.
