A graduate research student pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the subject of Australian Maritime Archaeological Conservation is eligible to apply for the Australian Maritime Archaeological Conservation award, which is a top-up award.
Eligibility for the Australian Maritime Archaeological Conservation Scholarship at the University of Melbourne:
- The candidate must be eligible to pursue a PhD in Australian Maritime Archaeological Conservation through the Faculty of Arts and have applied to do so.
- The applicant must have received at least a 75% weighted average in their final year studies, or the University of Melbourne equivalent, and at least a 75% score in the research component.
- The applicant should not have already finished a research degree at the same level as the program for which funding is being requested.
