ATV Media Scholarship at Holland College 2026

Introduction: 

The ATV Media Scholarship was established to support students entering the Journalism & Communications or Graphic Design programs at Holland College. The scholarship is intended for members of designated equity-deserving groups as defined under the Canadian Employment Equity Act and recognizes academic achievement, financial need, community involvement, and a demonstrated interest in media and visual communication.

Eligibility requirement for ATV Media Scholarship at Holland College:

• Must be a member of a designated protected group as defined by the Canadian Employment Equity Act.
• Must be entering first year of the Journalism & Communications or Graphic Design program at Holland College.
• Must demonstrate academic achievement.
• Must demonstrate financial need.
• Must demonstrate community involvement.
• Must submit an essay outlining a passion for television journalism or visual communication.

Value of the scholarship:

A CAD 2,500 is awarded to support a full-time student
