Eligibility Criteria for the Arthur J.E. Child Award in Economics, English, and History:

Applicants can be of any nationality.
Applicants must be continuing undergraduate or graduate students with a major in Economics, English, or History.
Applicants must have demonstrated academic achievement (minimum fall/winter GPA 3.0), financial need and outstanding community involvement.

Application Process:

Nominated by the Department of Economics, English and History respectively.
Undergraduate students must submit a General Application by May 1 to be considered. Graduate student deadline is May 15.

Value of the Arthur J.E. Child Award in Economics, English, and History:

Successful applicants will receive an award of up to $6,000.
Minimum of one award per department.
