Alisa and Bob Ramrattan Memorial Award for Community Services Students at Red River College Polytech 2026

Introduction:

An award in memory of Mr. Arnold Bobby Ramrattan and his daughter, in support of education and students for the academic year, Red River College Polytechnic assists students by administering scholarships, bursaries, and awards that have been donated by concerned corporations, community organizations, and individuals.

Eligibility requirement:

• Must be a 2nd-year student in a Community Services program at Red River College Polytechnic.
• Must demonstrate financial need and community involvement, and submit a reference letter showing community involvement.
• Preference may be given to First Nations or New Canadian (Permanent Resident or Protected Person) students
   

Application Process:

• Submit the completed application form by January 31st to Red River College Polytechnic.
• Include a reference letter that highlights your community involvement.
   

Value of the scholarship:

A CAD 500 award is available for a student

NOTE:

• Community Services programs: Child and Youth Care, Disability and Community Support, Early Childhood Education, ASL-English Interpretation, Justice and Public Safety, Library and Information Technology, Therapeutic Recreation Facilitator for Older Adults, Social Innovation and Community Development
• Preference may be given to First Nations or New Canadian students
