Alice Cummins Direct Pathway Scholarship in Medicine at the University of Western Australia 2026

Introduction: 

The Alice Cummins Direct Pathway Scholarship in Medicine was established through a bequest from the late Alice Cummins to support and encourage high-achieving students experiencing financial hardship to pursue a medical career at the University of Western Australia (UWA).

Eligibility requirements for the Alice Cummins Direct Pathway Scholarship in Medicine at the University of Western Australia:

• Applicants must be a domestic student.
• must be experiencing financial hardship.
• Have successfully completed the requirements for the Year 12 Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) in the year prior to applying.

Value of the scholarship:

A full-time student will be awarded AUD 30,000.

Application Process:

• Submit an application through the University of Western Australia's scholarship application system.
• Provide evidence of financial hardship as required.
