Alberta - NWT Command, The Royal Canadian Legion Award

The Alberta - NWT Command, The Royal Canadian Legion Award provides financial support to Olds College students who have a military, policing, or Canadian Coast Guard service connection.

Eligibility criteria for the Alberta - NWT Command, The Royal Canadian Legion Award:

• The applicant must be a full-time student at the university.
• The applicant must be enrolled in any year in any program at the university.
• The applicant must demonstrate their financial needs.
• The recipient will be any person who is serving or has honourably served (includes serving or retired military, Reservists, RCMP, Police Officers, and Canadian Coast Guard) and their dependents.
• The recipient may also be a child, grandchild or great-grandchild of those who have honourably served.

• Applicants must provide proof of service for themselves or an eligible family member.
• Applicants must provide the veteran's rank, unit of service, and relationship to the person who served.
