BCASW Northern Branch Bursary at the University of Northern British Columbia 2026

The BCASW Northern Branch Bursary supports full-time undergraduate students pursuing a Bachelor of Social Work at the University of Northern British Columbia. It provides financial assistance to eligible students who demonstrate financial need and have a commitment to contributing to the social work field in Northern British Columbia.

Eligibility criteria for the BCASW Northern Branch Bursary at the University of Northern British Columbia 2026:

• Applicants must be full-time students.
• Applicants must have completed at least 90 credit hours toward a Social Work degree.
• Applicants must be members of the BC Association of Social Workers (BCASW).
• Applicants must demonstrate financial need.
• Applicants must maintain satisfactory academic standing.
• Applicants must be enrolled in the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) program.
• Applicants who are single parents will be given first preference.

Application Process for the BCASW Northern Branch Bursary at the University of Northern British Columbia 2026:

• Apply through the UNBC online awards application.
• Provide proof of BCASW membership to awards@unbc.ca.
• Submit any other required supporting documentation.
• The Program Chair/Committee selects the recipient.
• The Chair of the School of Social Work recommends a candidate based on their potential contribution to the Northern British Columbia social work field.
