Established in 1995 by family and friends in memory of Wilma Ayre; Nurse, Musician, Teacher, Administrator, Wife and Mother, who touched many people with her kindness on her way through life. Two bursaries awarded to continuing Music students of ‘B’ standing who are in need of financial assistance.
Eligibility for Wilma C Ayre LU 30th Anniversary Memorial Bursary in Music:
- Must be a continuing (in-course) undergraduate student
- Must be enrolled in the Music program at Lakehead University
- Must have a minimum ‘B’ academic standing (or equivalent GPA)
- Must demonstrate financial need, as assessed by the University
- Must be in satisfactory academic standing, as defined by the University
