The Strömholm and Åkesson scholarships 2023

Fredrik Strömholm aspires to support the education of capable individuals from underrepresented and varied backgrounds. As a result, he is providing three Swedish bachelor's students with a three-year stipend of SEK 7,500 a month. The intention is to provide living costs over a period of three years, subject to SSE-determined good performance. The scholarship awardees will graduate in 2026 after starting their studies in the fall of 2023. 

Eligibility criteria for The Strömholm and Åkesson scholarships:

• SSE will evaluate the scholarship candidates based on their capacity to succeed in their chosen fields of study.
• The pupil must have guardians or parents who do not hold a degree.
• At least one parent or guardian of each student must have been born outside of Sweden.
• The candidate ought to have grown up outside of the urban districts of Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Malmö in Sweden.
• The applicant must originate from a socioeconomically disadvantaged background.
