Introduction

The Staf Gebruers Memorial Prize in Music is an annual award sponsored by Tom and Ann Jago in honor of Staf Gebruers (1902–1970), who made a significant contribution to the musical life of Cobh and Ireland as a carillonneur, organist, and choirmaster of St. Colman’s Cathedral.

Eligibility requirements for the Staf Gebruers Memorial Prize in Music at the University College Cork:

The applicant's prize is open to final-year undergraduate students at UCC taking Music as a major subject
Applicants should intend to pursue postgraduate studies in music in the following academic year.
