Kwantlen Polytechnic University offers the Merit Scholarship to students who demonstrate strong academic achievement along with leadership, community involvement, and volunteerism.

Eligibility criteria for THE MERIT SCHOLARSHIP at Kwantlen Polytechnic University 2026:

• Applicants must be new students entering KPU for the first time.
• Applicants must be enrolling in any KPU program.
• Applicants must have an 80% average in English Studies 12 and three other academic Grade 12 courses, or equivalent qualifying marks.
• Transfer applicants must have a 3.67 GPA based on at least 24 transferable university credits.
• Applicants must demonstrate leadership, community involvement, and volunteerism.

Application Process for THE MERIT SCHOLARSHIP at Kwantlen Polytechnic University 2026:

• Applicants must submit the KPU Major Entrance Scholarship application with the required supporting documents.
• Applicants are assessed competitively based on academic achievement, personal statement, community involvement, and volunteerism.

Value: CAD 7,500

• Fall Intake: 12 awards of CAD 7,500 each, split over two terms in the first year (Fall and Spring).
  
• Spring Intake: 6 awards of CAD 7,500 each, split over two terms in the first year (Spring and Fall).
