The Mary V Hart Memorial Prize in Music at University College Cork 2026

Introduction 

The Mary V. Hart Memorial Prize in music was established in 1978 by three sons of Mary Veronica Hart, all of whom graduated from University College Cork ,in the memory of her love for music

Eligibility requirements for the Mary V. Hart Memorial Prize in music at the University College Cork:

• The applicants must be current UCC students.
• The prize is awarded to a student who achieves first place in the BMus (Hons) degree examination.
• There is no nationality restriction; the application is open for all the nationals.
• The scholarship is awarded for the bachelor's program only.

Application Process:

• There is no separate application process. All the eligible candidates are considered automatically.

Value of the Scholarship:

• A EUR 100 is awarded to support a full-time student.

NOTE:

• The award is funded through an endowment provided by the donor to the university for awards to continue permanently. The funds are invested, and the annal income is available; the prize may vary depending on the fluctuations in the investment market
