The Gerard O'Keeffe Memorial Prize was established in memory of the late Mr. Gerard O'Keeffe, Solicitor, formerly of Kanturk, Co. Cork. The prize recognises outstanding academic achievement in the field of law

Eligibility criteria for the Gerard O'Keeffe Memorial Prize at University College Cork:

• The applicants must be current University College Cork (UCC) students.
• The applicants must have completed the relevant examinations Law of Torts I (LW1106) and Law of Torts II (LW1107)
• Must achieve the highest overall combined mark in these examinations.
• The examinations must be taken at the first attempt.

Application Process:

• No separate application is required; the students are considered automatically.

Value of the Scholarship:

• EUR 1,000 is awarded to support a full-time student.
