The Edward P. Cahill Prize at University College Cork 2026

Introduction:

The Edward P. Cahill Prize was established by Mrs. Angela Cahill, together with the Department of Accounting, Finance, and Information Systems and University College Cork (UCC), to honor the legacy of Professor Edward P. Cahill, the first professor of accounting at UCC. 

Eligibility criteria for the Edward P. Cahill Prize at University College Cork:

• The applicants must be current University College Cork (UCC) students.
  The applicants must be enrolled in the BSc Accounting degree program.
• The prize is awarded to the student who achieves the highest overall marks in the final year of the program.
• The scholarship is not restricted to any particular nation; it is open to all nationals.

Application Process:

• No separate application is required; the students are considered automatically.

Value of the Scholarship:

• A EUR 750 is awarded to support a full-time student.
