The Dr. Tadhg O Ciardha Prize at University College Cork 2026

Introduction:

The Dr. Tadhg Ó Ciardha Prize is an academic award offered by University College Cork (UCC) in memory of the late Dr. Tadhg Ó Ciardha, former professor of statistics and president of UCC. 

Eligibility criteria for the Dr. Tadhg Ó Ciardha Prize at University College Cork:

• The applicants must be current University College Cork (UCC) students.
• The applicants must be enrolled in the BSc (Hons) degree program.
• The applicants must achieve the highest marks in statistics at the BSc (Hons) degree examination.
• The scholarship is open to all nationals 

Application Process:

• No separate application is required; the Eligible students are automatically considered based on their academic performance

Value of the Scholarship:

• A EUR 400 is awarded to support a full-time student.
